The Human-Ethical Association Hordaland County Council has its headquarters in Bergen and functions as part of the national organization that works for humanism and openness of life views. The association offers ceremonies such as name parties, confirmations, weddings and funerals, and aims to give members the opportunity to mark important moments in life in a meaningful way.
In addition to ceremonial services, the county council arranges regular activities and events in Hordaland, which contribute to community and engagement among members. The active local council is characterized by committed members who work to promote a stronger voice for an inclusive society. The association also engages in current issues and debates related to life views and ethics, and offers resources for both members and elected officials.
