Aerial is an artist-run art studio in Bergen, Norway, with a focus on socially engaged practices. The studio emphasizes projects involving female thinkers from the global south, and offers a space for collaboration through the "shared*space" initiative. This provides opportunities for artistic exploration and collective work.
In addition to the studio's main focus, book launches are organized with cultural elements such as wine and readings. Aerial also hosts artist talks and conversations with current artists, contributing to a dynamic artistic dialogue. Themes such as imperialism and loss are explored through various artistic expressions, and the studio has plans for future projects, including an "empathy school" planned for 2025.
