Andreas Gravdal is a Norwegian contemporary artist based in Bergen. He is a self-taught artist who focuses on details from everyday life, and his paintings are characterized by a naive and rough approach. Gravdal often includes words on the canvas to enhance the expression in his works, which gives them a unique character.
In his showroom, the artist’s work is exhibited, and visitors can experience his interpretations of themes such as loneliness and community. Gravdal also offers a newsletter for those who want updates on his artistic work. The studio functions as both a workplace and a gallery, where his creative process and finished works can be explored.
