Bergen Blue Cross Association is a voluntary association that has been in operation since 1992. The association offers meeting activities and runs a day center in Bergen, where over 100 people are served breakfast and dinner daily. In addition to the meals, activities and social services are arranged for visitors, which contributes to a social community and a good atmosphere in the premises.
Every Tuesday morning, the association distributes food bags to those in need. The operation of Bergen Blue Cross Association is financially supported by Bergen Municipality and the Norwegian Directorate of Health. With approximately 35 volunteers contributing to the operation, the association is an important service for people seeking community and support in their everyday lives.
