The city psychologists offer psychological services with quick access to an appointment within three days, without the need for a referral. They have an office in the center of Bergen, where they offer both physical consultations and video calls. In addition, they can conduct home visits if needed. The services include individual consultations and couples' conversations, with an approach that is adapted to the client's preferences.
The treatment methods used include cognitive therapy and metacognitive therapy, which are the most commonly used. The city psychologists focus on solving problems from the first conversation, and they emphasize providing support conversations and high-quality treatment. If they are unable to help you sufficiently, they will try to refer you to appropriate resources.
