The Center for Intensive Group Therapy in Bergen offers specialized services in intensive group therapy with a focus on self-love and acceptance. The center aims to help participants deal with their inner critic and change inappropriate patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. Through the therapy, participants learn techniques to increase flexibility and self-confidence, which can contribute to a higher awareness of automatic reactions.
The center also offers online therapy sessions, making it available to participants from all over the country. For new participants, non-binding conversations are offered to map out challenges and wishes. In the intake conversation, how group therapy works and what theoretical foundation underlies the treatment are discussed. Participants are given the opportunity to consider whether they want to participate in the therapy after this conversation.
