The Center for Nuclear Medicine and PET in Bergen specializes in nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET). The center uses radioactive tracers to investigate biochemical processes in the body, making it an important tool for diagnosing various diseases, especially cancer. Through advanced techniques, the center can also contribute to examinations of the brain, which is crucial for understanding and treating neurological conditions.
In addition to diagnostic services, the center offers appointments for both nuclear medicine and PET. They also keep the public informed about news and events related to health and medicine, which can be useful for both patients and professionals. The center thus plays an important role in the medical community by combining research, diagnostics and patient care.
