The Night Ravens in Bergen city centre is a voluntary organisation that works to create safety in the urban environment. The organisation aims to contribute to a safer experience for residents and visitors to Bergen city centre, especially in the evening and at night. Night roving is a central activity, where volunteers patrol the streets to provide support and safety to those who travel there.
In addition to night roving, the Night Ravens include a council for night roving, which provides guidance and support to both new and experienced members. The organisation also organises the Night Raven Conference, which brings together volunteers from different locations to share experiences and develop strategies for their work. The Night Ravens encourage community and collaboration, and provide opportunities for individuals to contribute through grassroots participation.
