Læringsverkstedet Notveien Naturbarnehage is a four-department nursery school located in Bodø, which offers extended tours through its outdoor group. The outdoor group aims to explore natural gems in and around Bodø, and uses its own minibus for daily trips. The nursery emphasizes creating a good and safe community for the children.
The nursery has a varied outdoor area that includes a forest, sandboxes, bicycles, a play stand, a greenhouse and a kitchen garden. Children aged 1-6 follow their ward throughout their time in kindergarten, which contributes to continuity in care and learning. The learning workshop Notveien Nature Kindergarten focuses on using nature actively to stimulate the children's senses and give them good nature experiences, as well as teaching them to respect nature's resources.
