Bykirka in Bodø is a congregation that is open to everyone, regardless of faith or membership. It offers a range of activities and services for both children and adults, with a particular focus on community and spiritual experience. The Sunday school for children aged 4-10 has varied content, and there is also a Tentro program which functions as a non-denominational alternative to confirmation.
The congregation emphasizes creating an inclusive environment, where committed adults lead children's activities and facilitate new visitors. In addition, parish trips, such as to Arjeplog, are organized to strengthen the community and give the participants opportunities for new experiences. The city church aims to be a place where you can experience God and build relationships in the city.
