Bodøgaard - art & culture is a private cultural center and exhibition venue that houses Northern Norway's largest private art collection. The collection includes four main elements: an extensive art collection, an icon collection, an ethnographic collection, as well as the legacy of the artist Oscar Bodøgaard. The place offers a varied experience of art and cultural history, with a focus on the preservation and dissemination of art and cultural heritage.
In addition to the permanent collections, Bodøgaard organizes temporary exhibitions with works from both national and international artists. Kulturhuset also hosts concerts and other cultural events, as well as activities related to the graphics workshop Den Frie Presse. Bodøgaard collaborates with Bodøgaard's Friends to promote art and culture in the region. It is also possible to rent premises for special occasions such as anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, memorial services, courses and conferences.
