Speiderly YMCA / YWCA scout cabin in Drammen is a cabin that offers a varied program for scouts and their families. The cabin organizes family scout gatherings and Christmas tree parties, and focuses on creating community among the participants. Activities such as a disco for youth, as well as postal races and district banner competitions for scouts are arranged, which provides opportunities for both fun and learning.
In addition to the organized activities, Speiderly has a six-month plan that provides an overview of upcoming events and kick-off meetings. The activities are adapted to different age groups, from 1st to 5th grade, and also involves parents through minutes and committees. This helps to strengthen the bonds between the participants and their families, as well as promoting involvement in the local community.
