Psychologist Morten Werner Smeland runs a private psychology center in Grimstad, located in the Kulturhuset. The center offers services within individual therapy and couples therapy, and a referral from a doctor is not required to get an appointment. Morten Werner Smeland focuses on personal development, relationship problems, and handling difficult emotions and trauma.
The center aims to provide support to people who want to further develop themselves, experience problems in relationships, or have difficult emotions. There are also services for those who have been through painful experiences or who are curious about their own reactions. The services are designed to supplement public services and provide a wider range of opportunities for mental health.
