Vestre Torg in Hamar is a playground that offers a varied selection of activities and experiences for the residents of the municipality. The square area is part of a larger focus on downtown development, where emphasis is placed on mobility strategy and citizen involvement in the development of the local community. This includes opportunities to participate in projects that affect the future of the city.
The area has also been the subject of recognition, such as the Building Code Award for the rehabilitation and reuse of the Food Quarter. In addition to the playground's offerings, services such as digital maps and building services are also available. Vestre Torg thus functions as an important gathering point for both play and community engagement in Hamar.
