The Friends of the Reconstruction Museum is an organization in Hammerfest that works to support and promote the Reconstruction Museum. The museum aims to preserve and communicate the story of the reconstruction of Finnmark and North Troms after World War II. The organization contributes to the museum's activities and events, and works to raise awareness of the region's cultural heritage.
Through various projects and collaborations with local actors, the Friends of the Reconstruction Museum seeks to engage the local community and visitors in the museum's work. The organization plays an important role in ensuring that the story of the reconstruction is passed on to future generations. This includes both disseminating knowledge and supporting the preservation of historical objects and documents related to the period.
