Storvollen student housing is located in Harstad and offers an attractive living environment for students. The homes were completed in the fall of 2004 and are located in scenic surroundings, which gives residents access to outdoor activities both summer and winter. The proximity to Folkeparken provides opportunities for recreation, and there are prepared trails for skiing in the area.
The homes have large outdoor areas that include a dollhouse and sandbox, which may be of interest to residents with children. It is also a short distance to the campus, with a bike ride of about 10 minutes. The environment is characterized by safety and security, and facilities are provided for a social community among the residents.
