NMS Reuse Haugesund is part of NMS Gjenbruk, a chain of second-hand stores that offers a wide range of second-hand goods. The store has a varied range that includes clothes, furniture, books, lamps, mirrors, pictures, tableware, kitchenware, tablecloths, knick-knacks, toys and sports equipment. NMS Reuse Haugesund accepts whole and clean goods free of charge, which provides an opportunity for reuse and sustainable consumption.
The store also has its own candle foundry that produces Knausen candles from melted candle scraps. These candles are known for their quality and long burning time. NMS Gjenbruk is run by approximately 2,500 volunteers, and the profits from operations go to the organization's work to spread faith, fight poverty and injustice. There is also the opportunity to volunteer in the store.
