The Haugesjøen Foundation is an organization that offers work preparation measures for young adults. Through close follow-up and individual adaptation, the foundation facilitates the participants' development of real and formal competence. This includes training in various crafts, with a focus on carpentry and repair workshops.
In addition to the professional offerings, the Haugesjøen Foundation emphasizes coastal culture and the preservation of vessels. Participants are given the opportunity to participate in leisure activities such as the boatman's test and fishing trips, which contributes to a holistic development. Every day, the participants gather for a joint lunch, which promotes social cohesion and cooperation.
