Guidance lines, tactile markings, wayfinding and contrast markings are specialized services that help improve accessibility and safety in public spaces. These solutions are particularly important for people with reduced vision or mobility, as they provide visual and tactile cues that help with orientation and navigation.
In Jessheim, these services are provided to ensure that public areas, buildings and transport hubs are accessible to all users. For example, guidance lines and tactile markings can be installed on sidewalks, in buildings and on platforms to guide people safely to their destinations. Contrast markings are used to highlight important elements in the environment, such as stairs, entrances and other potential obstacles.
These measures are part of the work on universal design, which aims to create an inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to participate. The implementation of guidance lines, tactile markings, wayfinding and contrast markings is therefore an important step towards improving the quality of life for many residents.
