The Child Welfare Service Jessheim is a public agency responsible for safeguarding the rights and welfare of children in the municipality. The service works with prevention and measures for children and young people who live in conditions that may be harmful to their development. This includes, among other things, cooperation with families, schools and other agencies to ensure a safe and stable upbringing environment.
The agency offers advice and support to parents, as well as assessment of situations where children may be at risk. The Child Welfare Service is also responsible for implementing measures when necessary, and they work to find solutions that are in the best interests of the child. The service is part of the municipality's overall welfare services and cooperates with other public and private actors to ensure comprehensive services.
