The learning workshop Gimlekollen kindergarten is located in a quiet residential area in Kristiansand, and opened its doors in 2003. The kindergarten has three departments that accept children aged 1 to 5 years. With an idyllic location near beautiful natural areas, the kindergarten facilitates outdoor activities and play, which is an important part of their educational approach.
A focus on safety, play and learning characterizes everyday life in the kindergarten. Children are given the opportunity to develop at their own pace, supported by committed and warm adults. The kindergarten emphasizes seeing, hearing and caring for each individual child, and aims to create an environment where all children feel valuable. Through playful learning and interaction, children are given the opportunity to master new skills and build a solid foundation for further development.
