Upstairs is a chain of stores focused on gifts and interior design, established in 1996 as a family-owned company. The store in Sørlandssenteret, which opened in September 2008, is located on the first floor, near Vinmonopolet. Upstairs offers a varied range of products, including interior design items, small furniture, napkins, candles, wrapping, party supplies, gift bags, seasonal items, as well as cards and tags.
The store has specialized sections such as the Christmas shop and the party table, and focuses on direct imports from manufacturers, which eliminates intermediaries and contributes to competitive prices. Upstairs also offers a click & collect service, as well as free shipping on purchases over 599 kroner. The range includes environmentally friendly products with water-based colors, and an inspiration blog is available for creative ideas.
