Nok. Agder - Center for Sexual Abuse offers a low-threshold help service for people who have been victims of sexual abuse, as well as their relatives. The center has an interdisciplinary team that provides free conversation services and guidance to both school classes and health personnel. This includes theme evenings that focus on attachment and trauma, as well as activities such as forest walks, Christmas workshops and swimming groups.
In addition to direct support for victims and their relatives, the center organizes annual conferences for professionals in Bergen. The work emphasizes the importance of relationships in the process of dealing with trauma, and the center aims to create a safe and supportive environment for all involved.
