Kanthaugen Freestyle Resort is located in Lillehammer and offers a variety of activities for both adults and children. The resort is particularly known for its sledding, which is a popular activity for families. There are specific age restrictions; children between the ages of 5 and 9 must ride with an adult, while children from 10 to 15 can ride alone after parental approval. Participants from 16 years of age and up can ride unaccompanied.
Safety is an important part of the experience, and all participants must follow the given safety instructions carefully. It is also important to note that the activity is not available for pregnant women or people with back or neck problems. The sledding is available from December to April, depending on weather conditions, allowing for several months of winter fun.
