Rupert’s Honey is a honey farm in Lillehammer with a strong focus on bee protection and sustainable development. The farm actively works to promote job security and food security in rural communities, as well as to reduce poverty and improve the quality of life for those who live there. Through its commitment to gender equality and value creation from inaccessible land, Rupert’s Honey contributes to a more sustainable future.
The farm offers comprehensive information about bees and the benefits of beekeeping, and acts as a resource for both traditional and commercial beekeeping. One of the innovative solutions introduced is the Jackson Horizontal Hive, which has a unique design. In addition to honey production, Rupert’s Honey also provides information about agriculture and beekeeping, and works to raise awareness around these topics.
