Lillehammer Red Cross is a voluntary organization that offers a wide range of services in the care and migration field. The organization works actively with community preparedness through the Help Corps, which consists of specially trained search and rescue crews. In addition to this, they have sanitary preparedness at various events, which contributes to increased safety for participants and visitors.
In addition to the preparedness work, Lillehammer Red Cross offers a digital café that functions as a meeting place for volunteers and participants. The organization places great emphasis on training and mentoring its volunteers, which ensures that they are well prepared to handle different situations. During busy periods, they also have an emergency ambulance available, which further strengthens their ability to respond to emergencies.
