The Salvation Army Molde Corp has been part of the local community since 1888, and offers a diverse range of services with a focus on care and support for people in vulnerable situations. The organization is known for its motto "soup, soap and salvation", which reflects their work to provide food, guidance and support to those who need it most. They offer, among other things, a Home-Start program, which targets families who need extra help in everyday life, as well as a national telephone service for people over 60.
In addition to the social services, The Salvation Army Molde Corp operates a Fretex store, where visitors can find rare treasures and vintage clothing. The organization is also involved in childhood, substance abuse care and aid work, and provides opportunities for volunteer work, which helps to strengthen the local community. Through their work, they seek to create an inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of background or life situation.
