Narvik Kunstforening was founded in 1948 and has since then been an important player in the arts and culture of the region. The association runs Galleri Viktoriahavn, which offers a varied program of exhibitions that highlight both local art and cultural history. The gallery serves as a platform for artists and art enthusiasts, and creates an engaging atmosphere for visitors.
In addition to exhibitions, Narvik Kunstforening offers various courses and activities. These include Mandagsmaling, which is aimed at young people, as well as a children's art school for young artists. Through these initiatives, the association wants to promote creativity and artistic development among young people. The association also organizes a number of art-related activities and events, which help to strengthen the local art community.
