The Embassy of Argentina in Oslo acts as representation for Argentina in Norway and Iceland. The embassy offers a range of services for Argentine citizens, including registration of citizens staying abroad. In addition, it provides information on national elections and voting rights, which is important for Argentine citizens residing in these countries.
The embassy also has an active role in promoting tourism to Argentina and organizes cultural and artistic activities. It participates in international agreements such as EFTA-MERCOSUR and collaborates with local authorities to promote Argentine culture. An example of this is Tangofest, which is organized in Bergen, where the embassy helps to strengthen the cultural bond between Argentina and Norway.
