Høyenhall vel is an event venue that offers rental of Høyenhall velhus for various occasions such as birthdays, parties, confirmations and class reunions. The premises are available to both members and non-members, where membership gives access to reduced rental prices. The Velhuset is located in a residential area, and emphasis is placed on taking the neighbors into account during the events.
The welfare center is run on a voluntary basis by an elected board, which also collaborates with local groups such as Høyenhall children and young people and Herlige Høyenhall Bootcamp. Events in the venue end at 01.30, which helps to maintain good neighbourliness. Høyenhall thus functions as a meeting place for the local community, with a focus on community and cooperation.
