Lunden nursery school is located in Lunden Hageby and was opened for the first time on 11 September 2006. The nursery school has bright and airy premises, and is divided into a toddler ward and a grown-up ward. It is approved for children aged ½ to 6 years, and has a short distance to outdoor areas that are used regularly.
The nursery emphasizes humour, good relationships and close cooperation between adults and children. There is a focus on nature and the joy of movement, and the children are encouraged to participate actively in their own everyday life. The educational approach is sensitive and caring, which helps to strengthen the children's self-esteem and develop a safe and inclusive environment. The nursery adapts to the group of children by organizing smaller groups for better contact with adults, which provides solid prerequisites for both mental and physical health.
