Montessori kindergarten Solsikken, ward Lilleputt, offers an educational approach based on the Montessori method, which emphasizes independence and mastery in the children. The nursery has three departments: a toddler department called Tommeliten, as well as two older children's departments, Barnas Fryd and Lyse. The staff group is committed and stable, with expertise in Montessori pedagogy.
The location in a quiet residential area gives the nursery a great view of Oslo, and there is good access to public transport, including bus and subway. The environment in the nursery is adapted to the children's interests, which should promote both concentration and enjoyment of learning. This creates a stimulating learning environment for the children.
