Montessori kindergarten Solsikken Knerten offers an educational offer based on the principles developed by Maria Montessori. The nursery is adapted to children aged 1-3 years, and emphasizes that the children should have the freedom to choose their activities and follow their own interests. This approach promotes both independence and self-confidence in the children, in an environment where caring and competent adults are present to support them in their development.
The outdoor area at the nursery is designed to give the children the opportunity to explore and play in scenic surroundings. Here there are many flowers and berry bushes, as well as good sunny conditions that contribute to a pleasant stay outside. The environment is characterized by joy, humor and an exploratory approach, which creates a positive atmosphere for learning and play.
