UNE - The Immigration Board is an appeals body that deals with cases related to immigration law and citizenship. The organization has a structured case management process that takes place in three stages, and offers a tribunal meeting for complainants who wish to present their case orally. UNE has specific focus areas, including family immigration, asylum and citizenship, and works to safeguard children's rights in all proceedings.
Information about UNE's services and guidelines is available in several languages, which makes it easier for different groups to understand the processes. In addition, UNE has developed a collection of sources with practice notes and guidelines that can be useful for both complainants and other interested parties.
