The Alpine Resorts' National Association is a trade organization that represents Norwegian alpine resorts and mountain destinations. The organisation's aim is to promote public health, employment and business development within the alpine industry. Safety is a priority, and the association works actively to ensure safe ski lifts and slopes for both visitors and employees.
The association organizes the Alpine Annual Conference, where industry players gather to discuss current topics and challenges. In addition, they develop courses that deal with responsibility, safety and first aid, and work with sustainable solutions such as artificial snow. The Alpine Facilities Association also offers legal assistance and job placement to its members, as well as publishing the industry magazine "Alpin & Fjell". The organization works with politicians to promote the industry's interests.
