Cultural interpreter in child protection Oslo Norway is an institution that works with method development projects for the child protection service. The organisation's aim is to promote cultural awareness and understanding in working with families from different backgrounds. This includes support for parents in their role as carers, as well as help for children and young people who are exposed to violence or neglect.
In addition to practical support, Kulturtolk offers information about the Child Protection Act, particularly aimed at immigrant families. The organization also addresses cultural differences in upbringing, and works to clarify the child protection service's role as both supervisor and helper. This helps to create a better understanding between child protection and the families they work with.
