Fond for Utøvende Kunstnere is an organization whose aim is to support professional performing artists in Norway. The fund offers various forms of financial support, including travel support and reimbursement for environmentally friendly travel. It also administers artist grants, which involves an application process for artists who wish to receive financial help for their projects.
In addition to scholarships and travel support, the fund has several support schemes aimed at concerts, performing arts, courses and seminars. The organization assists artists with application, budget and project description, and processes a significant number of applications each year. Previous allocations are made public, which provides insight into the fund's activities. Fond for Útøvende Kunstnere also awards the Rolf Gammleng's prize, which honors outstanding performers in the field of art.
