Holmlia cultural café is a cafeteria that has been part of the local community since 2019. The café focuses on the use of local ingredients and offers fresh baked goods every day. It functions as a meeting place for community and belonging, and aims to give young people opportunities for their first job and training. The café is run as a not-for-profit company with social purposes, and was initiated by a mother of five with her own experience of integration.
In the Holmlia cultural café, visitors can enjoy a varied selection of self-produced goods, inspired by the diverse local environment. The café offers both opportunities to order cakes from skilled confectioners and a place to enjoy handmade lunches and desserts. The café also serves locally roasted coffee from Lippe coffee roastery, which contributes to the unique dining experience.
