HimalPartner, formerly known as the Tibet Mission, is a religious organization focused on aid and development in the Himalayas, especially in Nepal and Tibetan areas of China. The organization has been active since 1938 and aims to leave a lasting mark in the region through sustainable measures. This involves a commitment to safe upbringing and mental health, as well as initiatives that give people the opportunity to earn a living.
In addition to the aid work, HimalPartner offers a platform for a nuanced conversation about aid and encourages reflection on the boycott of aid. The organization also has initiatives such as "Musical bridge builders", which promote cultural exchange and collaboration. Through an online store, socially beneficial products are sold, which support the organisation's work and contribute to sustainable solutions in the local communities they serve.
