The Hill Blow is an amateur band based in Oslo, which aims to promote musical joy and social enjoyment among its members. The choir offers a varied repertoire and arranges concerts throughout the year, including traditional Christmas concerts in the Holmenkollen chapel. In collaboration with KorXO, a program that appeals to a wide audience is presented.
The band is celebrating its 30th anniversary and recently got a new conductor, Åsmund Ødegaard, after many years with Malin Thunberg at the helm. The Hill Blow also has a tradition of going on band trips, including a trip to Stockholm with concerts, which contributes to the community and musical development among the members.
