Tore Bjørn Skjølsvik is a renowned contemporary artist based in Oslo. He runs an arts and culture center that focuses on local art, and offers exhibitions with both established and new artists. The center functions as a platform for those interested in art, where workshops and themed evenings are organised, as well as art lectures that promote discussion and reflection on art and culture.
Skjølsvik is known for its sculptures and monuments that reflect Norwegian history, culture and character. His works can be found scattered all over the country, from north to south, and include portraits of various social actors such as athletes, writers and business leaders. With a unique ability to depict people at work, he has distinguished himself as one of Norway's most productive sculptors in the field of professional portraits. The gallery also gives visitors the opportunity to buy artwork directly, which contributes to an inspiring atmosphere for both artists and the public.
