Billie Thackwell runs an atelier and art studio in Oslo, with a focus on polaroid art and portraits. She uses a polaroid camera to create unique and unpredictable images, which include both original polaroids and enlargements. Thackwell has developed the project "Portraits of Minds", which deals with topics related to mental health. This project reflects her interest in how art can help illuminate and explore mental states.
The artist's work has received recognition from art critics, and she has been featured in Dagsavisen. Through her artistic approach, Thackwell seeks to open up boundary-breaking experiences, which makes her work both unique and thought-provoking.
