Kunstverket Galleri AS, established in 1989, is one of the Nordics' leading galleries for graphics. The gallery specializes in representing graphics and works on paper from prominent Nordic artists. It focuses on unique graphic techniques such as lithography and mezzotint, and has a particular commitment to established Norwegian contemporary artists. Kunstverket Galleri has three main departments: gallery, edition and decoration, and works to promote graphics as an important form of artistic expression.
The gallery organizes a summer exhibition from 9 August to 7 September, and also has an exhibition in Hovedøya Kunstsal, which is the country's largest half-timbered building. New works by well-known artists such as Lars Lerin, Zdenka Rusova and Per Kleiva are shown here. In addition, Kunstverket Gallery offers framing and gift cards, as well as an online gallery for art purchases. The location near the ferry berth makes it easily accessible by boat from Aker.
