Lava Oslo Catering is a restaurant group that includes several well-known eateries in Oslo, including Smalhans, Hitchhiker and Handwerk. The company has a strong focus on food enjoyment, creativity and good flavours, and offers a varied selection of dishes based on seasonal ingredients. Each restaurant has its specialities, such as Hrimnir Ramen, which combines Nordic and Japanese culinary techniques, and Smalhans, known for its shared dishes and natural wine.
In addition to take-away from the restaurants, Lava Oslo Catering also offers options for catering to larger companies. They have chambre séparée available for private parties, and their Handwerk Botaniske location is in the Botanical Garden, where there is also outdoor seating. The Golden Chimp specializes in dumplings and Asian food, while the Sentralen restaurant focuses on Norwegian ingredients with continental flavours.
