Playground Music Scandinavia, established in 1999, is the largest indie company in the Nordics with offices in several Nordic cities, including Oslo. The company offers services in the distribution and publishing of music, with a particular focus on supporting independent artists. Playground Music also has a wide range of business areas, and works with A&R, marketing, digital development and publishing.
The company has several labels, such as Playground, Diesel, Masa Music and Uniform Beat, where they sign their own artists and develop their careers. In addition, Playground Music acts as the Nordic representative for a number of foreign record companies and distributors, both digitally and physically. They work actively to market their artists globally and monitor the rights of both the company and the artists.
