Bjølsenjordet is a cultivation area run by plot growers through a member organisation. The area was established in 2015 as part of the "Edible Stories" project and is located in Bjølsenparken, which was previously a children's park. Bjølsenjordet is fenced and offers facilities such as a meeting room, kitchen and an equipment shed for members.
The total area is 500 m², where there are 14 plots and 29 growing boxes. Allotment of plots is based on seniority during the annual meeting, and there is a waiting list for interested parties, where people who live within 500 meters of the area get priority. Bjølsenjordet functions as a community for local growers who want to grow their own plants and vegetables.
