The Armed Forces' joint services (FFT) is a joint staff and administration that serves several of the Armed Forces' departments. The organization has responsibility for various functions, including regulations, finance, security and communication. This makes FFT a central actor in the coordination of services and resources within the Armed Forces.
In addition to the administrative tasks, FFT offers services related to music as well as faith and philosophy work. The organization is also responsible for command, including Akershus command. Through its work, FFT emphasizes efficiency and cooperation between the various departments, which contributes to a more holistic approach in the Norwegian Armed Forces' operations.
