Hjelpemiddelformidlingen Oslo Municipality is a local public agency whose main task is to distribute aids to residents in need. This includes both repair and installation of aids supplied by NAV/Hjelpemiddelsentral. The agency works to ensure that people with disabilities have access to the necessary aids to be able to function as best as possible in everyday life.
In addition to distributing aids from NAV, Hjelpemidelformidlingen also offers municipal aids that can be loaned out if needed. This may be relevant for people with a temporary disability, for example after an operation or in the event of an injury. Through its services, the agency helps to support residents of Oslo who need aids to maintain their quality of life.
