Diakonveien Omsorg+ is a care home that is offered through allocation from Oslo municipality. The facility aims to provide residents with a safe and supportive environment, staffed around the clock by a housekeeper. In addition to the private care apartments, there is an activity center where the residents can participate in social communities and make use of various offers such as a café, cultural events and a fitness centre.
Diakonveien Omsorg+ is part of Diakonhjemmet, which has a clear vision and value base with a focus on sustainability. The services are continuously developed to meet the residents' needs. Since 2007, Diakonhjemmet has organized Diaconie's Day, and a diaconate professional council has also been established to promote professional development. In addition, meditation booklets are developed for use in various contexts, and occupational health services are offered through DiaFrisk.
