Borettslaget Baglerbyen is a form of housing that offers cooperative apartments in Oslo. The housing association is organized as a community where the residents have shares in the property and thus the right to live in one of the apartments. This gives an opportunity to own a home in a more economical way, while at the same time sharing responsibility and costs with other residents.
The housing association aims to create a good living environment for its members. Emphasis is placed on cooperation and participation in decision-making processes concerning common areas and the operation of the housing association. This may include maintenance of buildings, common areas and other facilities available to residents. Borettslaget Baglerbyen thus contributes to a social community and a stable living environment in Oslo.
